Welcome to the world of off road heaven.  The ROKON Scout is a durable dual wheel drive workhorse.  Easy to ride as it is to maintain.  Scout features rugged steel spoke wheels and the ROKON 3 speed transmission.  Like every ROKON, Scouts can climb 60 percent grades and carry loads up to 1,000 lbs.  They can get through tight places with an overall width of only 29 inches.  There is a steel skid plate which allows the rider to slide over rocks or fallen trees.  First introduced in the early 1980s, Scout has been updated with improved frame strength, powdercoat painting for a long-lasting durable finish and converted to a modern 4 stroke engine with solid state ignition.  Scouts appeal to riders who are looking for a mototractor that costs less without compromising quality.  Standard configuration provides 14" of ground clearance with a seat height of 31 inches.  Tires are wide (8x25x12), the widest of any ROKON and make riding a surefooted experience.  Dual disc brakes, front cargo rack and rear passenger seat are all standard options.

The standard color is forest green, and the optional colors are red, black, and olive drab.  Scout has a Kohler 4 stroke, 172 cc, 6.6 hp powerplant.  This is the same engine on the Trail-Breaker.  In fact, the Scout is the same as Trail-Breaker except for the steel spoke wheels.  Lights are run off an engine magneto.  The starting mechanism is a compression release recoil system.  Electric start is an option.  There are many accessories that can be ordered with Scout including towing options, gun boot, sidecar, trail maintenance kit, brush busters, and wheel chains for snow, among others.  Each Scout comes with complete illustrated manual to make parts identification a cinch.  However, don't expect much maintenance here.  After checking drive chains for lubrication, air filter and changing a spark plug from time to time, there is little to worry about.
